Scouting...A Bridge to the Future

Robert Baden-Powell was the founder of the Work Scout movement in England.  He recognized the fact that the boys of England were growing up without any knowledge of useful occupations.

It was his intention to train the boys of England to be useful, and good citizens.  That led him to create the Scouts.

For nearly a century, the Boy Scouts of America help build future teachers of this country.  The B.S.A.  believes that helping youths is key to building a more productive society.

The Boy Scouts of America provides a program for young people that build character, trains them in the responsibilities of citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
